Richard now devotes all of his time to legal services pricing consultancy work and is widely regarded as the leading international authority on pricing legal services. His pricing consultancy services and speaking engagements take him throughout the UK, Asia, India, Europe, Australasia and North America.
Richard is a Teaching Fellow (Pricing) on the Master of Legal Business program at the College of Law, Australia, a regular speaker at national and international conferences including IBA global conferences (Dublin and London), the Commonwealth Law Conference (Hyderabad, India), the VQ Virtual Intelligence Knowledge and Strategy Forum (Stockholm, Sweden) and the Canadian Bar Association Managing Partners Forum (Calgary Canada).
His legal services pricing research and commentary have been widely published or cited in Commonwealth Law Journal, Global Legal Post, Managing Partner, Harvard Business Review, The Times and the Pricing Journal amongst others and he is a guest lecturer on legal services pricing at the prestigious Fordham University Law School in New York.
Richard is a member of the Brussels-based European Pricing Platform and a member of the Professional Pricing Society (USA). He is the founder of the Validatum Pricing Forum®, which was created to provide support, training and collegiality for the people in UK top 100 law firms with pricing responsibilities. He is also an Advisory Panel member of the USA equivalent, the True Value Partnership Institute and a consultant in India’s foremost legal profession consultancy, Legal League Consulting.
