George is widely regarded as a leading independent authority on professional services industries and their firms. His work covers Australia, Asia, USA, Canada, and UK with a particular focus on the imperative for law firms to remake their business models. George wrote the best-selling e-book NewLaw New Rules and co-authored with Dr Imme Kaschner Remaking Law Firms – Why and How published by the American Bar Association.

Richard Burcher is a former New Zealand practicing lawyer and managing partner with over 35 years experience. Following post-‐graduate study in pricing-‐related disciplines, Richard has been based in London since 2012 as the Managing Director of Validatum® and the founder and managing director of leading legal pricing software platform, Virtual Pricing Director®. Legal commentators regularly describe him as the leading law firm pricing consultant in the world.
His pricing consultancy services and speaking engagements take him throughout the UK, Asia, India, Europe, Australasia and North America.
A regular speaker at national and international conferences his legal services pricing research and commentary have been widely published or cited in Commonwealth Law Journal, Global Legal Post, Managing Partner, Harvard Business Review and the Pricing Journal amongst others.
Richard is a Fellow of the US College of Law Practice Management, a member of the Brussels-based European Pricing Platform and a member of the Professional Pricing Society (USA). He is also an Advisory Panel member of the United States True Value Partnership Institute and a consultant in India’s foremost legal profession consultancy, Legal League Consulting.
He has worked with a broad cross-section of law firms in 22 countries with turnovers of £10 million ($US15m) to £900 million ($US1.5b).

Nigel spent nine years as the Managing Partner of a medium sized regional law firm in the UK and had 30+ years’ experience as a practicing solicitor. He is a former chair of the Law Society’s Law Management Section. He is now the Managing Director of his own consultancy, Nigel Haddon Consulting Ltd.
Nigel has worked with the UK’s leading pricing consultancy, Burcher Jennings, since 2014 and has now trained almost 100 law firms in the UK and Europe in pricing. Nigel’s experience in private practice is seen by his client firms as a significant asset in his training role. Nigel has presented on pricing, often as key note speaker, at conferences throughout the UK and Europe.
Nigel also works with law firm leaders as a critical friend and advises law firms on mergers and acquisitions.

Anna Hinder is the Principal of Searl Street Consulting. With over twenty years’ experience in human resources, Anna has held a range of senior HR generalist roles in financial services, global consulting and investment banking. Anna has worked with partner leadership teams across Australia, Asia and Europe and has a deep understanding of professional services firms. Anna started consulting to law firms in 2003 and has extensive experience in the design and implementation of people strategies for legal teams of all shapes and sizes.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Anthropology from the University of Queensland and a Master of Commerce from the University of New South Wales. Anna has been an adjunct faculty member with the Australian Graduate School of Management and The University of Sydney. Anna completed the Oxford Scenario Planning Approach and is currently enrolled in a Master of Research at Macquarie University.
Anna enjoys the intersection of evidence based research and practical challenges of managing professionals in firms and partnership structures. Anna continues to be interested in the commercial applications of research into what makes organizations and people more effective in their work.

With 15+ years’ industry experience in Beirut, Dubai and London, Alison is now Head of Innovation and Project Delivery Asia Pacific at Pinsent Masons.
She is also Chair of the Chief Innovation Officers Forum (CIOF) – a collaboration of like-minded changemakers who have created a platform to exchange resources, experiences and opportunities.
As a legal intrapreneur, Alison combines people, processes and technologies to deliver bespoke, creative solutions.

Richard is a Chartered Accountant and Director of Legal Finance Professionals Limited.
He holds extensive expertise in delivering public CPD, in-house, financial awareness and student training programs for medium to large legal practices.
Richard also represents the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and is a regular speaker at major conferences and training events throughout the UK. What’s more, he was a guest speaker for the Institute of Chartered Accountants at its Solicitors’ Special Interest Group national conference – and has presented at events for many top organisations.

Michelle is an intrapreneur with a robust global network – and a track record for business transformation, first-to-market initiatives, technology optimisation and innovation.
As the Executive Director of King & Wood Mallesons, Michelle is a legal technologist who creates innovation strategies.
This often incorporates legal design, digital strategy, thought leadership and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Michelle holds many qualifications and accreditations, including Associate Fellow of AIM and Six Sigma black belt. She was also one of the first Australians inducted internationally as a Fellow of The College of Law and Practice Management – and has received the ILTA Distinguished Peer Award.

Katherine intimately understands the challenges of developing and managing a legal services business. As a business development advisor and former ‘fee-earner’ herself, Katherine is known for her strategic and practical thinking.
Katherine’s consultancy – Katherine Thomas Consulting Pty Ltd – exists to help law firms grow through strong client relationships and unique service offerings.
In less than three years, Katherine developed the flexible resourcing service Vario from an idea into an award winner. Before this, she spent 15 years in senior business development, communications and knowledge – leading major change projects across multiple locations.
Katherine also established the firmwide client development program for Pinsent Mason.

Steven is Managing Director of Elevate's law department and contracts consulting business in APAC – a top global law firm for four consecutive years.
During his 20+ years in the industry, Steven was a long-term leader at Hewlett-Packard, responsible for operations in several countries. He also practised law at Norton Rose and Baker McKenzie, specialising in IT, IP and technology M&A.
Today Steven helps legal departments, law firms and legal services providers innovate in their offerings. He has pioneered multiple global and regional transformations – and implemented complex solutions that blend technology, processes, people strategies and sourcing models.
