Dr George Beaton has guided clients through a wide variety of strategic decisions in his 30+ years as an advisor and consultant. George leads the client research that gives rise to the beatonbenchmarks and the Client Choice Awards each year since 2005 and, for smaller firms, the Professional Services Awards and FirmChecker.

George is widely regarded as a leading independent authority on professional services industries and their firms. His work covers Australia, Asia, USA, Canada, and UK with a particular focus on the imperative for law firms to remake their business models. George wrote the best-selling e-book NewLaw New Rules and co-authored with Dr Imme Kaschner Remaking Law Firms – Why and How published by the American Bar Association. For many years George was a senior member of the business and law schools of the University of Melbourne.
